A big thank you to Rich and Cher for the many hours they spent making this ride happen - designing the route, putting up signs to help with navigation and communicating with so many folks so they could all be included.  Thanks from all of us who had such a wonderful day of riding, eating BBQ and visiting with friends old and new.  You are special people.

In a post on the NER forum Rich said:

"Thanks to everyone who rode along on the Pioneer Valley Rimby. The NERIN, Star Chapter 240, Star Chapter 291, NESR, Massjet and clan, some other "new" NER'ds who just showed up, and, of course, the NER'ds....well, we were all NER'ds on Mayday! <grin>

Cher and I had a ball....really. We are just stunned about the turn-out, the organization, the weather, Bub's hospitality, everything went so beautifully. I may have planned the route (and, I must say, wasn't it a beauty!?), but the NER'ds pulled this off as an un-team! "

As I said, they are special people.  Indeed!
